On June 22, 2009, DHVP together with a BSC-appointed research coordinator presented detailed research results to the management of BSC (the BIDV Securities Co.), which conveyed a strategic determination of transforming the firm to the stage of development.

The results opened up path for BSC to foresee its future as an innovative, knowledge-based financial service firm with a strong brand equity. The senior management of the firm have been determined to increase its visibility and reputation not just at national level, but also at international level as in a broad and long-term vision.

BSC, established in 2000, mainly providing financial services to Vietnam Stock Market participants, has currently had an equity base of approx. $40 million, annual revenue of $2 million. It has currently managed a $200 million portfolio asset and has been aiming to improve long-term performance in almost all important areas of operation under a broad and thorough innovation program since 2008. DHVP continues to work closely with BSC senior management in this medium-term program on the research front.
